MISSION STATEMENT
The International Organization of Associated Christian Webmasters was founded with two primary functions in mind:
* First and foremost, IOACW was designed to glorify the Lord and not man.
* Second, the IOACW was designed to provide a Spirit-filled organization which would serve to promote the webmasters profession in a non-competitive atmosphere.
IOACW's mission is to integrate the webmasters profession with Christian beliefs, standards and principals. In doing so, IOACW intends to assist the individual, the profession and to give glory to God.
IOACW GOALS
The goals of the IOACW is somewhat simplistic and is intended to enhance the effectiveness of the association:
* IOACW is dedicated to upholding the highest standards and integrity and will not become another source of Christian mockery.
* IOACW's goal is to assist the individual webmaster by providing a quarterly newsletter aimed at addressing industry related issues while also uplifting the spirit of the webmaster.
* IOACW's goal is to not become a political machine with underlying political agendas. However, if an issue is found to directly affect the webmasters profession, it will be brought to the attention of the members in an unbiased manner.
* IOACW's goal is to increase membership and to appoint chapter directors who will hold meetings (on-line chats, etc.) with fellow webmasters aimed at promoting fellowship.
* IOACW will provide a source of referrals between Christian webmasters and Christian's in need of an webmaster.
PROMOTION OF IOACW
The International Organization of Associated Christian Webmasters exists for the benefit and use of Christian webmasters. As such, IOACW would hope that each member would do their part in promoting IOACW and is even a good source of media exposure for the webmaster. Primarily, IOACW is promoted through word of mouth, the web site, mail outs and media exposure. We would encourage each member to promote IOACW and to use IOACW as a source of promotion for their business or website.
